Privacy policy

Last updated: 13.08.2026

This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit and use the KUKKO custom stamp configurator. K+K Swiss AG is the controller. Swiss data protection law applies; where relevant, we also observe the European Union General Data Protection Regulation.

1. Controller and contact

K+K Swiss AG, Via Sant‘ Abbondio 59, CH-6577 Ranzo. Contact person: Michael Kleinbongartz. Email: info@kukko.com.

2. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When pages are accessed, the host processes technical data such as IP address, time, requested resource, referrer, browser, operating system and transferred data volume in server logs.

Processing is necessary for secure, stable and efficient delivery, error analysis and defence against attacks. It is based on our legitimate interests and, where the GDPR applies, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where required, a data processing agreement must be in place with the host.

3. Cookies, Cookiebot and browser storage

Cookiebot, provided by Usercentrics GmbH (Sendlinger Str. 7, 80331 München, Deutschland), manages and records your consent choices. Consent status and time, device and browser information and a shortened or hashed IP address may be processed.

Essential cookies store the PHP session and selected language. The configurator also saves entries in your browser’s local storage so that they remain available while moving between steps or after reloading. These configuration details leave your device only when you submit the request. Non-essential technologies are used only with consent, which can be changed at any time in the cookie settings.

4. Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to measure website reach and use. Usage events, approximate location, device and browser information and online identifiers may be processed.

Google Ads may, if enabled in the connected Google accounts, be used to measure advertisements and conversions. Analytics, advertising and personalisation functions are activated only in line with your Cookiebot selection. The legal basis is consent and, where the GDPR applies, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time for the future.

5. Google reCAPTCHA

When the form is submitted, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3 from Google Ireland Limited to detect automated entries and spam. reCAPTCHA may process and transmit to Google information including IP address, browser and device details, time spent, mouse or keyboard interactions and the result of its risk assessment.

The service protects the form. Where consent is legally required, reCAPTCHA is used only according to the consent managed through Cookiebot. Without the service, the form may be unavailable for security reasons.

6. Configurator, logo upload and contact form

When you submit a request, we process the stamp configuration, first and last name, email address and country. Company, telephone number, message and uploaded logo are optional. Language, submission time and IP address are also processed. The information is sent by email to the responsible KUKKO team to review, process and answer the request.

An uploaded logo is stored on the web server under a filename supplemented with a random value and is technically accessible via a direct URL. Do not upload unnecessary personal or confidential content. Processing is necessary for steps requested before a contract and our legitimate interest in handling enquiries; where the GDPR applies, Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

7. Recipients, international transfers and retention

Recipients may include authorised staff and service providers, in particular STRATO, Usercentrics/Cookiebot and Google. Transfers outside Switzerland, the EU or the EEA are based on an adequacy decision, recognised data privacy frameworks or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We retain data only as long as needed for the stated purposes, handling the request, website security or legal record-keeping duties. You can delete local browser data yourself. Uploaded files and enquiries are deleted when no longer required and when no statutory retention duty applies.

8. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and may object to processing. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for the future. You may also contact the competent data protection authority. To exercise your rights, contact info@kukko.com.

9. Security and changes

The website uses TLS encryption. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. We may update this policy when functions, providers or legal requirements change; the version published on this page applies.
